Manoj Joshi was born in 1955 to Onkar Joshi. Joshi began his career in Marathi films and in Marathi theatre, also putting up performances in other films like Gujrati and Bhojpuri. He has acted in over 60 films since 1999, many of his roles being comedic.

According to the latest reports, Bollywood actress and model Sherlyn Chopra has been banned from Twitter from posting images after she posted her nude pictures on the social networking site. When twitter removed the picture from the site, she tweeted "Where has my pic disappeared!!! This is strange! Can Twitter kindly let me know where my pics are? Is there a censor board on Twitter???"
